Bad Teachers, Your Days are Numbered !

My fellow blogger Odie over at The Woodsterman introduced me to this fellow, Wild Bill, and he has a very pleasant and forthright way of dishing out common sense,,,,

"It's time to purge our schools of political correctness and bad teachers"

Boy, was THAT music to my ears!   I just wish it were true that good solid Conservatives were going to be running for School Boards, etc.......mostly, they home school, and that has to STOP unless a majority of kids are being home schooled.  I'm for HS'ing but we need to fix our schools.  Wild Bill is so right;  it's time we demanded that people who don't love this country don't teach our kids; that's SUICIDE and it's happening every day, this slooow death due to textbooks that mock us, no flag, no pledge....it has to STOP.   Why is it 'too Conservative' to love one's country and want its children to grow up that way? Good post, thanks!

Amen! To all of that.

Amen!! It's time for parents to pay attention to what's happening with their children, and to realize because someone's a teacher, doesn't mean they deseve that title!

If your child's teacher encourages him to join a demonstration, and storm a building as was done in Wisconsin, do you feel comfortable with that teacher? With what he/she is teaching your child?

Do you send your child to school to learn about being a union member, or to learn about American history? Right now, American history is on the back burner, destined to stay there.

Parents must organize and become a force for the good of their children. Education is important, indoctrination is evil and insidious, IMO.

So parents, take your children back, you're being marginalized and your children are being persuaded that you don't know what's best for them. It's time now, before it's too late!

Conservatives risk it all when they send their kids to government schools. The only way to get rid of bad teachers is to first get rid of the unions that protect them. If all conservatives pulled their kids and grandkids out of government schools and into parochial or private schools it would overturn the system. Let's use some of their tactics to destroy a system that is fundamentally broken at every level.

Good points Chris but being the economy that way it is many, many more do not have the option of private schools. That said I do like what our State of Michigan is doing to attempt to address this situation namely in Detroit by turning what were public schools into charter schools being they consistently out perform the latter in ALL areas i.e. top notch teachers graded on performance, subject matter and graduation.

When parents of any background see their kids do well en masse, well that is change they can believe in and do and the latter will fall by the wayside.

There is another entity that notices these changes as well, BUSINESS and we all know what they bring to the table,,,,JOBS.

Great video!

I gave up on teaching in the public school system back in the late 1970s.  I gave up on teaching in secular private schools in 1997.  Now I work with groups of homeschoolers.  We're a patriotic and politically-incorrect bunch.

I do feel bad for those unable to get a good or even decent education for their kids. My sons Lutheran school has an "Angle fund" so that no one can say they are too poor to get a great education with a Christian backing. We have done many events to pay for those that need it.

My one son is in sp.ed. in government run public school. It took me looking at 4 schools and lots of gumption to find a "good" school in the government system. If you would have seen the other schools it would have scared any good parent.

I feel for the poor kids in Detroit that have no where to go and no one to take them away from that educatioanal abuse. I worked with children in Detroit last year. Most of the 5th grades and younger couldn't read. Half didn't even know how to sound it out if they had too. How in the world does this happen? No one cares. And the few kids that could read did so because mom taught them. The school does nothing for them. Nothing hurts me to the core like the thought of what those kids have been enslaved with. Teachers and politices are what it's all about. And since my school system has taken some of the Detroit students it is on the closing list because it has gotten so bad there.

Hopefully hte terachers and public unions have exposed themselves as the rabid vampires they are to the point people will still rember in a year and a half.

As I just posted on a Trestin item 'Next election is it, wrong outcome and forget it.'

Pretty good.
I must say I love the new design.

Hey Opie,,, Wild Bill is quite the speaker huh 8-)  Notice the Texas Ranger badge?

Kid, I do not think their ugly public union demonstrations are going anywhere fast so they will indeed be fresh on the minds of ALL Americans in that time period.

The valiant effort of WI Gov. Walker are being repeated to some extent in many states as we speak and the unions have no choice but too fight, a losing battle mind you, but a PUBLIC fight nonetheless which will make for great campaign ads to boot.

Trestin,,,Thank you for noticing and the compliment (on behalf of Wild Bill as well :) )

It took several generations for the  public schools to  get as bad as they are. It will take just as long to get rid of the socialist propagandists. In the city schools we may never see it.

Christopher said...

Sig, While I must agree with your first point I must differ on the second. There is not one who can deny including yourself the atrocious situation in our schools given the obvious lack of education in our youth in America and all are literally paying for it in money and moral decay.

This has reached a breaking point that cannot escape even the most ignorant among us and so as the new Mayor of Chicago said in another position (paraphrasing); "We cannot let a crisis go to waste". Well the crisis is here, there is no money for failure and all know it to and including teachers union's.

As to the propagandists, well they have always been around since our Nations founding but now, thanks to Obama, Pelosi, Reid et al people have awoken to what unbridled socialism is from the White House down to the local dog catcher and do not like what they see, at all.

Sure it will not happen overnight and will indeed take time but the simple fact remains, it cannot be sustained as the status quo and that is the public unions crisis and our children's salvation let alone ours in the end.
